This is a bit silly, really. For an iconic image to represent the bibliography of drawing, I really would want a picture of books about drawing. This, instead, is a picture of books within a book about drawing. In this case, it's a picture of a 1960s vintage (probably) suburban bookcase, complete with decorative candlesticks and a floral centerpiece, used in a Navy textbook on illustration to explain certain aspects of pictorial composition.
