Making Matrices: Questionable Features
This work has several questionable features for which
I make no real apology:
- It is too long.
- It has too many digressions.
- Its digressions have digressions.
- It has too many details.
- It covers obscure and antiquated methods.
- It has too many footnotes.
- It is often repetitious.
I like it this way.
But not citing sources is poor scholarship,
and in any case I get tired of not remembering where I knew something.
I'd rather you were bored than mystified.
