Alexander Cutter Grinders

The Alexander Model 2CG is very much like the Gorton 265 or the New Hermes CG-4 (or, kinematically at least, the Deckel SOE) save that (like very late Gorton 375-4 machines) it also has an apparatus built into the wheel guard for truing the wheel with a diamond.

The George H. Alexander Machinery Company, Ltd. was better known for its pantograph engraving machines (which were for the most part British-made clones of Deckel machines).
