A Technical/Engineering Timeline
A timeline of dates and events important in the engineering history of composing linecasters. Mostly technical, with some business aspects. Mostly Linotype, but also some Monoline, Rogers Typograph, Intertype, and Linograph.
The Ideas of the Linotype
A technical study of the development of the basic ideas which, taken together, define the Linotype as a machine.
Machine Models and Development
A chart of the development of Mergenthaler Linotype models. [TO DO: Figuring out Intertype models and capabilities]
As time and materials permit, this section will also cover other machines, such as the Rogers Typograph, the Monoline, and the Linograph (and various much less successful machines).
