Rouse Vertical Rotary Miterer, Operation
This consists of three documents: (1) "Operation and Care of the Rouse Vertical Rotary Miterer," a three-page instructional typescript, (2) "Instructions for Adjusting Mitering Machine Gauge," a single engineering-style drawing (Drawing No. S.A. 347, 1945-12-21), and (3) "Make Them Yourself on the Rouse Rotary Miterer," a single sheet printed advertisement. These documents cover the operation and care of the machine and suggest its use not only for mitering rule but also for creating ornamental rule out of plain rule.
Thanks are due to Sky Shipley of Skyline Type Foundry ( www.skylinetype.com) for preserving this information and making it available.
