As of the time of writing (early 2012), the following public venues are reported to have linecasters and/or typecasters in operating condition which are, at least occasionally, operated in public view. Locations are in the US, unless otherwise indicated.
In addition, Linotypes are reported in the printing shops in the "historic villages" in the Minnesota towns or cities of: Albany (also has a Ludlow), Atwater, Butterfield, Hastings, Jordan, LeSueur, Nowthen, McGrath, and Rollag. Typically these are open during the summer in association with a threshing festival.
