This is a lathe sold in the US by Clausing as the 'Clausing-Colchester 13"' (model 8014). It was made by Colchester in England and would have been known there as the Colchester Master 2500. 13 inch diametrical swing. Short bed (25" between centers). Dual inch-metric in gearbox and on handwheels. 5 HP 3-phase. Purhcased 2002-09-23. Originally installed in a high school in or near Detroit, Michigan.
For literature on the Colchester, see ../../ Plain Turning -> Literature on Specific Lathes -> Colchester.
Lubrication
All of the specified lubricants are out-of-production (1980s vintage) European Shell products. I've had to translate these into current (2000s) Mobil products.
