From Machinery's Handbook. Fifth Edition, 1916 (copyright 1914). New York: The Industrial Press, 1916. Table on page 1112 of "Dimensions of Twist Drill and Grooving Cutters - Wire Gage Sizes." The snipped used in the linking image gives the drill gage number, drill diameter in inches, and total length of the first few wire-gage sized twist drills. Scanned by the author from the original.
