Galileo's Instruments

These images of Galileo and his instruments were scanned in 2001 from Studies in the History and Method of Science, Volume ii. edited by Charles Singer (Oxford: At the Clarendon Press, 1921). The paper in which they appear is "The Scientific Works of Galileo (1564-1642) [:] With Some Account of His Life and Trial [;] Being a Review of Favaro's Edizione nazionale delle Opera di Galileo (1890-1909)" by J. J. Fahre. Both the original images and the scans of them are in the public domain.
