These ranges comprise the "main run" of the Triplex Normal glyphs, providing the Latin alphabet in Roman and Italic, the Greek alphabet in Roman, and punctuation in Roman and Italic. There aren't really any symbol ranges here, outside of the punctuation. Although Triplex, these are still "Taper1" glyphs; Taper2 doesn't start until Fraktur.
The Hershey glyphs produced and distributed by Dr. Hershey are clearly in the public domain. The glyphs produced by others and distributed with the GNU Plotutils are, to the best of my understanding, also in the public domain. The glyph data as transformed and used here by me remain in the public domain as well.
