This is the logo on the title page. It's the best I could do at present for a topic/linking image. It is at least an image from a book about the making of types which was meant in some way to represent that book. The fact that it is actually quite difficult to find such an image is itself a testament to the neglect of type making.
The image above does not link to a larger version (despite what the boilerplate above it says). This is a screen grab from a PDF of the book as digitized by Google. It's a pretty poor digital image. You'd be better off going directly to the source at Google Books if you want a different version.
