Cut for the Central Type Foundry by Schroeder & Werner using a non-Benton pantograph matrix engraver. Date unknown (must have been during the existence of the Schroeder & Werner partnership, from 1889 to 1891. Shown in the Saxe/Johnston edition of Loy, p. 109. Reviewed in The American Bookmaker Vol. 12, No. 2 (1891-02): 36-37.

Originally cut by John F. Cumming in 1893 to a design by Joseph W. Phinney for ATF. Sometimes spelled "Jensen"; later styled Jenson No. 2.
John Hancock (Keystone)
Cut by Gustave F. Schroeder either independently for or employed by the Keystone Type Foundry Date unknown. Not shown in the Saxe/Johnston edition of Loy.
Johnston Gothic (Central)
Central Type Foundry The lowercase was cut by Schroeder & Werner using a non-Benton pantograph matrix engraver. Date unknown (must have been during the existence of the Schroeder & Werner partnership, from 1889 to 1891. The details of the cutting of the uppercase are not yet known to me. Shown (both cases) in the Saxe/Johnston edition of Loy, p. 109.
