The Star Automatic Quadding Attachment (1949)
The Star Automatic Quadding Attachment. (South Hackensack, NJ: Linotype Parts Company, n.d. [circa 1949]) This would appear to be the original brochure for the first Star Quadder. (This was introduced in 1949, according to the later brochure There's a Star Quadder to Meet Every "White Space" Need , reprinted below.)
This reprint includes the business card of a Linotype Parts Company sales representative in Chicago, which was originally stapled to the front of this brochure. It is interesting because it was printed when Chicago was using telephone numbers consisting of three numeric characters for the exchange plus four digits (ANDover 3423). It has been annotated to reflect the change to two-character exchange identification with five digits (ANdover 3-3423, which in this case works out to the same number if dialled directly). In Chicago, this change occurred on September 18, 1948.
Selectro-Matic Model F Brochure
This was in an edition of the Star Parts Catalog that was either from 1956 (date on the introduction) or 1960 (date stamped as received by an owner); of course, it may have been added later. (But the same brochure is also present in a different copy of the 1956 catalog, so 1956 or so is a good bet.)

Operator's Manual
Quadder Operator's Manual. [model unspecified] (South Hackensack, NJ: Star Parts Company, n.d.) This is quite short (three pages). A quadder which required a long operator's manual would rather miss the point. Printing code: F40M-C-KG-TH.

This version is a bit of a mess. The original is a composite of printed sheets and photocopies, and probably represents fragments of at least two documents. There are problems with the pagination (some pages are bound backwards) and in general it is in quite poor condition. Still, it is a different edition, and all information may be useful.
