Literature for the Ludlow
Also third party, related and ancillary equipment, when specific to the Ludlow.
Here you will find literature on the Ludlow Typograph Machine and its accessories and on its auxiliary, the Ludlow Supersurfacer, but not on the Elrod, Ludlow Brightype Method, Ludlow/Hammond Hot Metal Paste-Up system (including the Ludlow Shell-Hi Slug Shear), or the Swiftape.
For our Ludlow matrix inventories, see Ludlow Matrices and Nonstandard Ludlow Matrices in Matrices at the CircuitousRoot Typefoundry.

[NOT DONE/BACK ONLINE] Supersurfacers. [The Ludlow Shell-Hi Slug Shear.]
For auxiliaries not specific to Linecasters, see Common Casting Equipment (especially Metal Feeders) and Composing Room Equipment (especially The Printer's Saw).
These aren't quite general-purpose enough to be classed as "composing room machines" (as the printer's saw is, although it, too, is used alongside the Ludlow).
A 2008 search of the USPTO records indicated that the trademark "LUDLOW" in category 7 for printing machinery, registered 1949-11-01, was expired.
