This is a lathe sold in the US by Clausing as the 'Clausing-Colchester 13"' (model 8014). It was made by Colchester in England and would have been known there as the Colchester Master 2500. 13 inch diametrical swing. Short bed (25" between centers). Dual inch-metric in gearbox and on handwheels. 5 HP 3-phase. Purhcased 2002-09-23. Originally installed in a high school in or near Detroit, Michigan.
All of the specified lubricants are out-of-production (1980s vintage) European Shell products. I've had to translate these into current (2000s) Mobil products.
[NOT DONE (the writeup, that is; though I still have some issues to resolve with balancing the legs of my 3-phase power)] Welcome to the wonderful world of 3-phase.
